  • How's the work life balance at Jo-Ann Stores?
    Horrible
    Answered 4 years ago
Horrible. Coming from a Store Manager. Your salary will drop your earnings to levels below the hourly ASM when you factor in all the unpaid overtime and you will be working many hours for free. Holiday season is extra special; you will have to work 6 days a week during November and December so you will have absolutely no time to enjoy with your family. If you are a team member, work life balance is fine. You will barely get any hours because there are none to give.

I work 8 hours, leave and am expected to return to work in less than 8 hours, so there is no life other than 2 days off per week, which are not concurrent. No weekends off.
