At first it was great we always had plenty of staffing you could rely on and the management actually did their job and showed appreciation towards it's employee's. Now we are understaffed losing people left and right have horrible communication and need a lot of work to fix it.

I like that they at least try to organize meetings to give us a chance to collaborate together with new ways to improve the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The appreciation that the residents and family members show towards us for caring for them. I love hearing them complement my cheerfulness and positive attitude.
What are some of the best things about your team?
You learn to trust and confide in your team and know that they will have your back and help you as you would do the same for them
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel way underpaid my raise was literally 24 cents and I've been a CNA for over 7 years and still could be making more flipping burgers right now. We never receive any sort of appreciation or incentives for our hard work.
