What do you like best about the leadership team?
As employees our voices are heard and our opinions matter. The leadership team acts as servant leaders to us employees.
When I look at my leadership team, I see a diverse group of people working together to set a north star for a growing and evolving organization. They're bringing in and promoting directors who understand how to turn the vision into reality and genuinely trusting them to get the right things done.
They never physically attacked anyone? Honestly, the leadership team is so out of touch with the industry and what their employees provide to their teams that I'm pretty confident that Leafly could begin advertising home furnishings and cleaning supplies and they wouldn't know the difference.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We are given RSU's, not options. Plus we receive annual bonuses.

They cover 100% of employee healthcare (vision, dental, and PPO health plan), and cover a big chunk of family/spouse premium for them as well. The Health PPO is particularly good, and it's awesome that they keep covering employees at 100% even as premiums are going UP.
After years of underpaying the product and engineering teams, market rates were finally met.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Collaboration and mutual respect. We trust each other and enjoy each other.
They are both passionate about their work, and empathetic to their coworkers and clients. I love how much they care about the work they do, and the people who use the things we build together.
These people are Carers and Fixers, they do not shy from problem solving because they genuinely want things to get better and for things to run effectively for everyone involved.
My team was filled with bright, honest, hard-working employees. Management was the opposite.
Those who are involved within the cannabis space and culture know what they are doing.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Collaborative, supportive, helpful, and positive.
Leadership is transparent about how the company is doing, what our vision is, and what's coming next. I love that they're also self-aware about the ways we can improve, and proactively are communicating our plans for achieving those goals on a regular basis.
Your coworkers will be the thing that keeps you coming back despite leadership being terrible. The people this company attracts for individual-contributor roles are outstanding humans.
Employees not in management are all in the same rudderless boat and support each other.

What did you like most about the interview process?
Easy to talk to everyone. It was more of a conversation and not stressful.
I got to meet many of the people who have become the teammates I worked with during the interview process, so I was genuinely able to assess rapport with my future teammates right from the start.
I got to meet my future teammates to feel out the dynamic we would have, they asked good situational questions.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people, collaboration, and the good we are doing for social justice.
I can be my genuine self here, and I feel accepted and appreciated by my coworkers and manager for what I bring to the table as an individual.
