The direct managers ive had have been wonderful. Strong successful women. Its be neat to have so many female leaders to work for and with. I hope i see more of them in the top of our zones.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Feedback, both positive and negative. Theres a distinct lack of positive feedback, and the negative feedback is frequently disrespectful and not constructive.
Leadership needs to be more realistic and compassionate. They should start by listening to people actually in the stores doing the work.
Involving associates in making decisions
Respect the people that bring the money into the system. They only know how to push papers. You have lost amazing people because of upper management.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I earned it in a business whose focus was on its customers.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would like a better 401k match, i'd love to see our old bonus structure come back. im doing my part and more in the store sales it was nice to feel adequately paid for succeeding the sales goals.
Pay increases are hard to come by and compensation isnt the greatest. They lack on keeping up with cost of living increases but the work life balance is nice and benefits are great; so there's give and take.

Just being up front with a person
Too much micromanagement of emoyers
There is no team Camaraderie or a culture or team work as well as respect.
They are all stressed and unorganized due to lack of good management
Stop treating someone badly when they’ve only been respectful of you.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I have a good manager, but I'm lucky, not everyone has a decent store leader
The hopes that one day soon there will be a reckoning, and upper management parasites will be gone

Focused on customers but also diversity, equity and inclusion
We celebrate eachother, results, customer service experiences and we promote from within a lot now. Our culture centers around developing our people everyday. Learning & development is at the core of working at Lenscrafters. It pays. Ive been promoted multiple times.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Upper management needs to listen to the employees needs and frustration. Associates should not be made to feel replaceable.

Ie was a Standard interview process.
Quick and simple. Straight to the point.
It was a long time ago and varies greatly based on the role. Store associates interviewed by that Store Market Manager. Leaders interview a couple times and also with a panel of other leaders. We want to ensure we have the best leaders in the optical industry and most of the time we do.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Be honest about what to expect
When I was interviewed by the regional he was more concerned with the conversation he was Having on his phone than the actual interview.
I have no complaints about the interview process.

What makes you most happy at work?
All the wonderful people that entrust in our professional expertise
Helping somebody see better than they've ever seen before
My coworkers are number one. But our patients can become our friends, we know eachother and they come back every year usually a few times. So you get to build actual relationships with people.
I absolutely love what I do. Nothing about what I do ever feels like a "Job" to me. I enjoy coming in to work, helping people, and being with my work family!

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Upper management should be purged, and replaced by people who ACTUALLY CARE
Get new leafership. Company is too lsrge and bureaucratic
Respect the people at the stores. Equalityt between companies.
The new management is not great. They are not team players and make our work environment uncomfortable
Promises from upper management are not kept. Too much favoritism!
