When I first started with this company it had a family feel to it. Employees felt valued. With new management, it is all about dollars and cents. Corporate greed is ruining what was once a great company to work for.

I didn't interview, I was retained during an acquisition
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I cannot think of anything positive to say about Life Storage anymore

Co-workers need to work as a team and not stab others in the back
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Area manager is horrible at his job. He communicates only when it's convenient for him, and all he cares about is the bottom line dollars, not his employees.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
With recent cost cutting measures taken by the company, employees are treated as an expense rather than an asset. More work is being requested from employees, while things like bonuses, holidays off, and travel stipends are being taken away from employees.
