What's the office vibe like at Linamar?

The office is not unlike any other manufacturing office. Lots of potty mouth, but respect is there for the most part. It's a different experience in a different plant. Heated debates were certainly few and far between. I've worked in far worse, and some better places since my experience there. If you work for Quality or Engineering expect production to keep you on your feet and away from the desk.
Standard office politics. Typical manufacturing potty mouth. Production is God. You answer to production. If you don't work overtime you aren't working hard enough. If you spend too much time at the desk instead of running around like the building is on fire you aren't working. Depends on the plant but it can be quiet, and other times it can be as I've mentioned above.
What part of Linamar's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
New manufacturing technologies are being utilized to meet customer demands. Automation is a strongit utilized asset.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Linamar?
Modernize. Get with the tech companies. Move forward to utilize new and improved methodologies to keep your employees and shareholders happy. Historical manufacturing has never been good. It's inefficient. It's inadequate, Nd everyone is miserable due to the pressure.

The CEO is a good face for linamar. Her public appearances have been benefiting the outlook of the company.
How's the work life balance at Linamar?
The more you work the more you are appreciated. Leave on time, you aren't working hard enough.
