My company was great until acquired by Riverside / Logically. Riverside is now driving this company into the ground. Riverside is good at micro-managing cookie companies out on Long Island, not good with involved technologies in a price competitive environment.
What makes you most happy at work?
Accomplishing things at work and solving problems for customers.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They're doing the best they can, while being puppets of Riverside.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It's a fair package, unlimited PTO is nice but does not seem to be policed very well.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
What the Executive teams says, unfortunately not necessarily what they do. HR does these employee engagement exercises and competitions which I consider to be noise.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They make the best effort they can under the circumstances. It's the people beyond our team (System Assurance, project engineers, purchasing) that only check the boxes but do not think and use common sense.
