  • If you had an account with the Loom Network before, your login credentials have been reserved so that you can access the Loom Community using the same login information (user name and password). To do so, simply click on Log In and enter your old login details, which will be associated with the same e-mail address you previously used. Please note that content, account history and preferences have not been saved or transferred over.

  • If someone has posted something inappropriate, please go to the page of the post in question, then click on the small flag beneath the bottom right corner of the post. Select the category for why you feel the post should be removed, and then click on Flag This Post. The Loom Community team will review the flagged post and take action to address the issue. We appreciate your help in keeping the Loom Community a welcoming and family friendly zone.

  • The latest posts of each user are displayed above their albums at their user page. When enough have been posted, they can be cycled through using the arrows on the left and right ends.

  • To invite a friend to the Loom Community, click on the small button with three stripes to the right of the search bar, then click on the "Invite a Friend" text at the bottom of the drop-down section. This will bring you to a page where you can enter your friend's e-mail address and edit the message they will receive. Click on "Send invite in email" when you're ready, and your friend should receive the message.

  • You can type in keywords into the search bar at the top of the screen. To the right of where you enter your keywords is a drop-down menu from which you either select a predetermined category or type in your own at the top. You can further augment your search by selecting from the category selection by clicking on the button with three bars.

  • To Share a post, go to that post and click on the Share button at its top right corner. This will bring up a number of icons representing other social media sites that you can share it to. To Reshare a post, click on the red thumbtack button at the top left, which will let you repost what you like with a note at the bottom noting its original source. Keep in mind that you can prevent others from Resharing or Repinning your post by toggling that option off under the Advanced Settings section when you create that post. This is generally the reason if you find that you cannot Reshare someone elses post.

  • Following is used to get automatic updates about your favorite Loom Community users, albums, or tags. If you visit the user page of someone whose posts you enjoy, you can click on the Follow button located on the right side of your screen. You can also click on the Follow button located beneath a users individual album, or you can Follow a "Trending" Tag (which will later be found under your "Interests" tab). Once this is done, you can go to your own user page, then click on the last tab beneath your own name which displays how many things you are Following. This page will now act as an organizer and a shortcut to all the users and albumsyou'vechosen to Follow, keeping you up to speed on your favorite posts. To stop Following a user or album, simply click on the Unfollow button under the respective category.

  • After you log in to your Loom Community account, click on the green button on the right hand of the screen that says Create a new post. Fill out each of the relevant fields, keeping in mind the maximum file size and file format if you are posting an image. All posts will be categorized under a specific album. To create a new album, type in the album name you would like to use. To choose an existing album, click on the text field to bring out a list of your current albums and select the one in which youd like to save your new post. You can also enter your post under a particular category, but take note that the categories are predetermined and you cannot create your own.

    If you already have a Youtube or Vimeo video, you can copy and paste the URL link when you create a new post. Each post can include both a video and a picture, this can be useful if you want others to be able to see the finished creation even in the middle of watching a tutorial.

    The Advanced Settings allow you to determine whether people can Repin your post (whether they can post what you posted) and whether people can leave comments on your post. These options, like the previous settings, can be changed if you decide to edit your post later.

  • Tags are a way to categorize posts of a similar nature. To associate your post with a Tag, enter the word or keywords of your choice under the space for Tags when you create or edit your post. This way, your post, and others of its kind, will show up whenever someone is looking for or looking through that particular Tag, including when they're browsing through the "Trending" section of the Loom Community.

  • To see and make changes to your account details, click on your name to go to your User Page, then click on the small white box with the horizontal bars, located to the right of the green "Create a New Post" button. This will bring up a drop-down list from which you can select Account, which will bring you to the page on which you can manage your profile. From here, you can edit information such as your e-mail address, password, and more.

    If you would like to include links to your other social media pages (such as a youtube channel), you can paste those URLs into your profile. This will create icons beneath your name on your Loom Community user page that people can click on, which will redirect them to the respective website.

  • You can control whether or not you receive e-mail messages notifying you of activity regarding your account and posts, such as if someone else has shared your post or become a Follower. To see these options, you must be signed in, then go to your user page. From there, click on the button with three bars located to the right of the "Create a new post" button, and select "Notifications". From here you can toggle your options on and off. To see what new notifications you have, click on the Bell icon next to your user name.

  • If you cannot remember your login information, click on Log In. Find theForgot Username link

    Enter your email address.

    Click on Submit and your USERNAME will show up on the screen.

    Check your email account for Reset Password email. The e-mail you receive should look like the oneshown below. Once you receive it, please follow the instructions.

    Click on the web link in the email to take you to the Reset Password page. Then login.

  • To make changes or to delete your post, go back to the same post, then click on the Edit button near the top right hand of your post. This will allow you to see and change the same fields that you saw when you first created that post. To remove your post completely, go to the bottom of the editing section and click on the Delete button, then confirm your decision by clicking on the new Delete button when prompted.
