There's absolutely no work-life balance at the NYC HQ. There's a huge disconnect/expectation between Lux U.S & Lux Milan. This includes work responsibilities, growth, salary, etc. Great company to build your resume, but you WILL feel burnt out after a year.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership is out of touch with 2021's reality. Very old-school...doesn't take employee feedback. Leadership doesn't care about work-life balance, only results.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Luxottica is not a diverse-friendly environment. There are some co-workers who are ignorant and rude. There is no HR team who can resolve these issues.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Stop forcing people to go back to the office. It should be optional. There should be a real diversity team who educates employees on respect & culture.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Luxottica Milan has been streamlining a lob jobs into one person's job. The healthcare benefits are basic and health insurance doesn't cover women's family planning benefits. Most executives are white and male.
