LVMH – While I strongly identify with the world of LVMH & its commitment to excellence, I felt that the working environment was toxic, unhealthy, and hyper-competitive. Team work should always be a priority, however there was certainly more that could and should have been done to nurture collaboration. | Comparably

What makes you most happy at work?

Being around a treasure full of beautiful luxury items.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Working among a beautiful collection of luxury and designer clothing, handbags, and accessories. Also the discount is generous.

What did you like most about the interview process?

I liked the personal engagement with the regional director and hiring manager. I also like the training program for leadership development.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Collaborate, and support one another. I think sales commissions have a negative impact on customer service, and only serve to create toxic, hostile work environments.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Creating heathy practice to inspire creative collaboration. If someone is not a strong seller but a highly creative & unique individual, more should be done to support them in alternative ways to retain talent.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I am undervalued because I am the Client that LVMH proclaims to honor & value, however I am overlooked, and cast aside even though my ideas are appropriated at every turn, my life experiences turned into fashion trends, and sold to rich clients with no real style, taste, or class.
