Lyft Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I don't know what that is

Salary and equity are good

Equity at a quarterly vest versus a one year cliff

Annual discussion about comp increase.

Review from HR Dept

Equity grants are exciting because I belive the investment I put into my work will pay off long term.

Review from HR Dept

Base pay and sign-on bonus.

Review from HR Dept

the mental health care plan

Review from HR Dept

strong equity package for employees

Review from HR Dept

Base salary is really strong.

Review from HR Dept

My base compensation - which is below the market but still the better part of my package

Review from HR Dept

The best part of my compensation is the RSUs. I wish we were provided a yearly bonus and had more info regarding refreshers

Review from HR Dept

Benefits & perks are great. TC is fine - I hope that Lyft continues to take care of folks that are top performers.

Review from HR Dept

Lyra mental health benefit and anthem Blue cross

Review from HR Dept

Lyft is a pay for performance company, I have seen my hard work and success rewarded!

Review from HR Dept

The lyft discounts are the best!

Review from HR Dept

Having a good insurance plan

Affordable for my family and me

Review from Operations Dept

The RSU’s and Lyft rides

I get to meet very cool great personality clients

It’s okay and fairly generous for a start up. Nothing bough tops Facebooks benefits.

Review from HR Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Immediate werkly pay, and if there is an error they should have someone who can actually help solve the error/issue

My pay ON TIME and actual support system with real people and a phone number where i can call to be HEARD AND HELPED!

It would be nice to be treated like a human being. I would feel better about compensation if i didnt have to come out of pocket so much when the app malfunctions it dosent even matter what you can prove you can send 100 screen shots whatever the malfunctioning system says takes priority.

Underpaid overworked and ignored when problems arise

Actually being paid. Not being lied to.

Review from Operations Dept

pay, feedback, interactions, more, and more.

Lyft does not pay for long pickups.

They never listen to employees

If I were given pay that actually allowed me a decent profit after my expenses

Review from Operations Dept

Don't get paid enough per mile.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Better benefits my percentage for drivers as far as pay

Review from Customer Support Dept

If I was correctly leveled.

Review from HR Dept

I feel undervalued because I do not think my skills are properly being used. I would feel better if we were on the same bands as our SF counterparts, much like our engineering partners are. I know they are individuals who are higher leveled then me when hired and they are NOT a stronger employee.

Review from HR Dept

It is not that I feel undervalued, it is just that offers that people have received externally are significantly higher then what we are giving out here at Lyft. We also don't have a bonus structure which most if not all companies at our size have right now

Review from HR Dept

When making the decision to join a company I look at more than compensation, but based off of current market rates I am being underpaid.

Review from Operations Dept

Knowing what others make / leveled as who do not perform as well or did not have as much experience - if I quit and rejoined maybe I would make what I deserved / equal with others. Better pay.

Review from HR Dept

The scope of the role isn't large enough nor creatively championed

Review from HR Dept

Everyone on the business side of the house is paid under the market here in SF. We need to be paid close to market or more competitively. I also think it would be a good idea if we had some bonus structure in place.

Review from HR Dept

I'm a TFTE and I don't feel my positive performance is being reflected in my pay and opportunities at Lyft. It doesn't seem fair that my promo was delayed until 2020 when that isn't the case for other roles that are equally junior.

Review from HR Dept

As a non-exempt employee in San Francisco, coordinating multiple activities to make things happen feels undervalued. I've checked the market from other companies and their non-exempt employees get paid $5-9 more.
