Mr. Douglas William Sesler, also known as Doug, has been Executive Vice President for Real Estate at Macy's, Inc. since April 05, 2016. Mr. Sesler is a recognized leader in real estate investments, restructurings, strategic transactions and portfolio management. Most recently, Mr. Sesler served as President of True Square Capital LLC. He served at Bank of America Merrill Lynch International Ltd. from 2005 to 2011 in roles that included global head of principal real estate investments and global co-head of real estate investment banking. Previously, from 1989 to 2005, Mr. Sesler served in a variety of roles at Citigroup and its predecessors, including as Managing Director of the global real estate investment banking group and Managing Director of the Travelers Realty Investment Company. He began his career in real estate roles at Chemical Bank. Mr. Sesler served as the Global Head of BAML Real Estate Principal Investments. He served in this capacity from January 2009 to February 2011. From 2007 to December 2008, Mr. Sesler served as Co-Head of Real Estate Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch. Prior to that, he was a managing partner in the real estate investment banking group at Merrill Lynch since April 2005. He has been an Independent Director of Gazit Globe Ltd since January 12, 2012. Mr. Sesler received a BA in Government from Cornell University.
