Ms. Elisa D. C. Garcia has been the Chief Legal Officer of Macy's, Inc. since September 7, 2016 and serves as its Secretary. Ms. Garcia served as the Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President of Office Depot International (UK) Limited since December 2013 and served as its General Counsel and Secretary. Ms. Garcia served as the Chief Legal Officer of Office Depot, Inc. from December 2013 to August 17, 2016 and served as its Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary from July 16, 2007 to August 17, 2016. She served as a General Counsel of Office Depot, Inc. from July 16, 2007 to December 2013. Ms. Garcia was responsible for managing legal, regulatory, compliance and government affairs matters for Office Depot worldwide as well as the loss prevention function.
