While being compensated in equity is fantastic, it should not be an offset to cash compensation. Equity is an alignment tool, to have employees invested in the companies future. Cash compensation, for me, feels significantly below what I could achieve on market.
I'd feel better about compensation if there were a plan for raises in place. We work well beyond our job titles here, and a 5-10% bump annually isn't too much to ask for.

I'm just not sure how raises will be done if they're done automatically or if I'll have to ask and get the run around about raises
There has not been any compensation for cost of living or merit based for my entire team. Few of us have already started looking for other jobs due to the neglect :(
