We started by demystifying complicated tax credits, saving over $100M – and countless hours of tax code research ????– for founders in nearly every industry. Then, we introduced MainStreet Procurement, simplifying expense management and contract negotiation for teams without the means to do it themselves, as well as our treasury management product that helps customers earn better yields on their cash reserves. The talent overall is tremendous. There are some really genuine people here. Starting a new job anywhere is difficult and especially in a space where it is rapidly growing. Many are trying to find their lane and that includes me. More bad days than good at the moment but I am hoping that changes.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Sometimes acclimation to a new company is difficult.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate the attempt at transparency and the willingness to have difficult conversations.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I feel like individuals are very invested in building a great company. That's inspiring.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
All of it. I find it very generous. I appreciate the attention to detail. For example, the Home Sweet Home perk.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Remote work can be complicated. It takes more time to learn personality traits and how individuals prefer to be communicated with overall.
