MainStreet Claimed Company
Our products aim to do one thing: save startup founders and small business owners time, money, and peace of mind. We started by demystifying complicated tax credits, saving over $100M – and countless hours of tax code research ????– for founders in nearly every industry. Then, we introduced MainStreet Procurement, simplifying expense management and contract negotiation for teams without the means to do it themselves, as well as our treasury management product that helps customers earn better yields on their cash reserves. Since our sort-of viral beginnings in 2019, we’ve raised a $60M Series A (more on that later), launched three product lines (with more in the works), and grew from 3 employees to 160+. read more

MainStreet Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Flexible time off, full medical coverage, annual bonus

All of it. I find it very generous. I appreciate the attention to detail. For example, the Home Sweet Home perk.

Review from Operations Dept

shares, ote, medical are great options

The Bonus and Equity are the best parts of our compensation package.

Great benefits and perks - especially for a company of this size.

full medical, dental, vision coverage with other included. work from home set up and an additional aid during Q4 for WFH basics like meals or cleaning.

My equity in the company!

Review from Operations Dept

MainStreet really goes out of their way to provide market leading benefits. I have never been anywhere that invests this much in their employees.

MainStreet is always looking for more benefits to give their employees - $500 WFH stipend, $300 WeWork stipend.

Time flexibility (PTO and work hours) and salary

- No insurance premiums!! All are paid for my MainStreet. - Minimal set of options, but they are all good.

It's comprehensive - the base is extremely competitive, equity is awesome, and the other perks are great too (coworking stipend, etc.)

Review from Operations Dept

Very generous about covering business expenses, whether it be WeWork day passes, work-related reading materials, other lifestyle services.

Reimbursement for recurring home office expenses

Review from Operations Dept

Extremely generous benefits for a startup of this size

The competitive salary and benefits

The best part about the compensation package is Student loan assistance.

Review from Operations Dept

Unlimited PTO! We work hard, sometimes the days are long and we are moving quick, but it is highly encouraged to take the time off to hit the recharge button. I always feel like I am a human, before I am an employee.

Medical/dental insurance and other benefits along those lines (e.g. OneMedical, life insurance, 401k...)

Review from Operations Dept

The benefits that MainStreet offers are seriously awesome. Not gonna lie, it's one of the best parts of working for MainStreet. I have so much more peace of mind financially because of these benefits

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I know what other people in similar positions make and what I make and feel that my comp doesn't necessarily reflect my value to the company.
