What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Removal. No time with workers

Sincerity. Communication. Valuing employees. Showing up to the office.

The leadership team is just a big clique. They don't lead anything and see most employees as being beneath them.

Understanding that we are human and relief employees are vital for a work-life balance.

Review from Operations Dept

Leadership needs to be more culturally/ethnic diverse. They need to understand that office culture will and should vary by region

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

Management switches job scope and responsibilities but doesn't address pay gap for the changes.

I'm working a "Chemist" position, but as a lab technician being paid much lower than what a chemist makes.

Review from Operations Dept

Constantly given job responsibilities beyond my pay grade with no promotion or payrate increase

Management has devalued my job while Executives make quarter of a million dollars, annually

Promotions and pay increases go to favored employees not those who have earned it.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

Maybe act professional. Dont just hire bros and a few eye candy females.

It is like a frat house. No one is held accountable for their work.

Some coworkers are great. Others do very little and get promoted for it.

Communication skills, and work life balance.

Review from Operations Dept

Coworkers were places in there position and lack the background and skills need for the role

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Replace disingenous 1950s style managers.

Value skill sets, promote accordingly, remove the rule for internal candidates of only being able to apply for positions within 1 paygrade jump

The mission statement and company values need to trickle down to the average worker, not just the corporate team

Review from Operations Dept

Leadership needs to understand the long term impact of their actions or lack thereof.

Review from Operations Dept

Stop layoffs. Invest in the future - i.e. advertise and effectively market our innovations. Consumers don't know our products exist.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

Don’t lie to the prospective employ

Review from Operations Dept

Talk to people instead of only using scripted questions.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

The Andeavor MPC merger is failing. Attempts at bringing the two sides onto the same systems or same policies are going poorly. Bring in someone from the outside that actually knows how to handle such projects.

Management doesn't have a clue and doesn't care if they are unprepared for a meeting or if they tell outside customers the wrong thing

No career advancement. Promote/compensate valued employees

Management is ill equipped to deal with the company’s problems. Employee morale and engagement need to be addressed ASAP before there are major safety or environmental repercussion

By weeding out poor leaders and understanding what makes good leaders.
