COMMUNICATION. There is such an incredible lack of communication, or just complete negligence. I can't tell anymore.

They need to have a thorough background in esthetics snd massage therapy. How is a clinic manager supposed to coach therapists if they don't know anything about massage. Clinic manager said therapists shouldn't be doing glute work. Glutes are the most important part of massage!

Communication, and having a team in general. Our leadership has been 2 people at multiple locations and us having no location manager for 8 months now.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The level at which you can gain benefits is not achievable by most employees without significant burn out. Which then puts you under the required hours and you lose said benefits. Lowering the required full time hours would help. Having payroll done correctly would also help.

I'm esthetician with years under my belt and I get paid less than the massage therapists, I am treated so disrespectfully as well as the rest of the staff. They make us feel very expendable, I am constantly running out of supplies and having to wait weeks to get supplies I need.

We recently gain several new employees and were having issues with consistency in cleaning our rooms before they arrived. I have asked for a refresh for all employees on room cleanings and the answer I received was a packet of procedures to be signed. No hands on check ins. No constructive solution.

Meetings should be help more frequently. The DM dors not do enoughy

Take better care of customers, employees and both of their needs. Focus on service rather than sales. If you are written up as an employee you might not have knowledge of said write up and your personal information will be shared without knowledge. Speaking from my personal experience as did occur

I got written up with no knowledge or was made aware of. Personal information was shared about my mental health "crisis" without my knowledge.

I had to wait two weeks before I was even allowed to put on the schedule because Massage Envy corporate drags their feet and does not care how long it takes the therapist to be allowed to work

being clear and transparent about pay

I got mislead about most of my duties, didn't really get the chance to debate anything or ask questions. I got lied to about most of my benefits and oppertunities.

Management and training other than memberships

The constant turn around at the company has lead to many clients being frustrated and canceling memberships and the lack of communication with lack of an in house manager has employees at a loss when issues arise. An email does not help with a problem needing solved at the front desk in that moment.

The management team is broken therefore, business cannot flow properly bad business equals no cloents or employees for that matter. The employee turnover rate is ridiculous, as well as the amount of inactive memberships they have And why there's no respect from management for anyone
