What's the pay like for IT roles at Mastec?
Like I said I was offered a lower pain position then the one that I interviewed for.
What's the vibe like in the IT dept at Mastec? How many hours are you working?
I can't say how it is for everybody but I had a great experience

They're a great bunch of people over there always try hard to do the job and do the job right.
How's the leadership on the IT team at Mastec?
Honestly they run a pretty tight ship over there. I would recommend getting all the training you need upfront rather than rely on them for it.
How long do the interviews usually take at Mastec?
I can't speak for all interviews but mine in particular lasted only about 20 minutes

I would recommend just being straightforward, and curbing any sense of humor you may possibly have.
How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at Mastec?
Like I said it was a very straightforward simple interview and had absolutely nothing to do with the position more based on a buddy system than anything
What was the most difficult question that was asked during your interview at Mastec?
If I can work weekends. And travel out of town.
What should I wear for an interview at Mastec?
Jeans and a nice polo shirt would be recommended. Very informal
Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from Mastec?
I met with somebody who said he was the regional manager. Come to find out he was only a supervisor. I was offered the job immediately.
What questions do they ask during the interview process at Mastec?
He asked if I like hunting and football.
How would you compare interviewing at Mastec to other places you've interviewed?
I can't speak for all of the management but the person that conducted my interview didn't seem to care about my skills, of previous years of experience. I applied for a position, after he finished up his questions that had absolutely nothing to do with the position told me that position that I applied for and was interviewing for was in fact for a lesser position with substantially less pay. In my opinion they're not very professional at all.
