I'm tired. I was super enthusiastic for a long time, and they just continue to beat people down. There's always "a light at the end of the tunnel", but the tunnel never ends, and its cold, and its lonely.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is a team player.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
They don't value the employees despite sweet words to the contrary.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They try very hard, but resources are limited and they're perpetually stabbed in the back by corporate, so it's impossible for any real changes to occur.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
There is literally no work life balance. At all. None. You're at the store from 9:30-9pm usually, and you get zero breaks, and often you're alone not only for the day, but for the whole week. So you are literally just. Abandoned.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is absolutely no work life balance. You spend all day in the stores, and 9/10 times you're making hourly, not commission. The traffic just isn't there, and when it is there, changes in how you earn bonuses have prevented frequent across the board bonusing.
