Our business unit was an acquisition that was never fully integrated with the rest of the company which left us as somewhat of an outsider, isolated from leveraging a lot of the awesome power inside Medtronic because of our odd differences. Made us comparatively inefficient & a target for auditors.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I was warmly welcomed into this business unit inside Medtronic in a way no other company has ever done. It made a very positive impact on me early on. Made me feel very valued.
What would you most like to see improved at your company?
Simplify, harmonize, use a common set of well defined terminology. Get rid of the excessive red tape / bureaucracy. Stop emphasizing DEI so much. Tired of hearing about this constantly. Competency is what matters, not protected classes.
