The patients, the patients are the only reason any of us do this job.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Being team players and not brown nosers. They are all so worried about their next raise they don't care about their actual employees.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team work that goes with nursing. You just don't get the same team work from the higher ups and that's where it needs to come from first.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The benefits use to be amazing. Until St John's merged with mercy. Literally there is not one perk to working at mercy that makes it a plus to work there over other hospitals.
