Be honest to nurses about high patient loads of high acuity patients

Keep nurse to patient ratio at 5 to 1 at most. Lower ratio with high acquire patients.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Be less profit focused. Less cost conscious about hiring adequate nursing staff and qualified nurse aids. Company culture is to dump too many high acuity patients on nurses.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Increase nursing staff to a ration of no more than 5 patients to 1 nurse... if the patients are average acuity. The ratio should be lower if acuity is higher.
