Phill Bodem ā President of Southern California Division at Meritage Homes
Executive Bio
Mr. Phill Bodem has been President of Southern California Division at Meritage Homes Corporation since April 2017. Mr. Bodem oversees Meritage's Southern California growth strategy and day-to-day operations, including land acquisition and development, home construction, customer service, sales and marketing. Mr. Bodem served as President of an Operating Unit of Taylor Morrison, Inc. He served as Vice President, Central Valley Operations of George Wimpey PLC. He served as President, Central Valley Division of George Wimpey Plc and its subsidiary Morrison Homes Inc. veteran in the homebuilding industry, Mr. Bodem has more than 26 years of experience in homebuilding, including 15 years as a division president. In his previous roles with Taylor Morrison, Morrison Homes and Stellar Homes, he led his teams through the economic downturn in 2008 and prepared the division for growth and recovery in subsequent years. Mr. Bodem has also been an active participant in his community, serving on a variety of industry association boards. He serves as acting president of the Building Industry Association of Orange County. He holds a B.S. in Political Science from Santa Clara University.
