Mr. Phillippe Lord has been Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Meritage Homes Corporation since March 31, 2015. Mr. Lord served as President of West Region of Meritage Homes Corporation from April 2, 2012 to March 31, 2015. He is an experienced professional in the homebuilding industry. He served as Vice President of Strategic Operations and Market Research Department from 2008 to April 2, 2012, where he was primarily responsible for evaluation and recommendations on all land acquisitions, product placement and pricing. He was instrumental in developing this industry-leading research and analysis group for Meritage. He previously held leadership positions with Acacia Capital, Centex Homes and Pinnacle West Capital prior to joining Meritage Homes. Mr. Lord earned his bachelor's degree in economics and business from Colorado State University and completed his master's coursework in economics at the University of Arizona.
