Mr. David A. Marcus has been Chief/Head of Facebook Messenger of Facebook, Inc. since June 2014. Mr. Marcus is a Venture Advisor at Felix Capital Partners. Mr. Marcus served as the President of PayPal, Inc. (now PayPal Holdings, Inc.) at eBay Inc. from April 2, 2012 to June 27, 2014. He founded Zong, Inc. and served as its Chief Executive Officer. He co-founded Echovox SA in 2000 and served as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Marcus was responsible for Echovox global strategy, direction and management. In 2003, he co-founded VOX telecom. In building out Echovox, he built direct relationships and connections with mobile operators around the world. Before Echovox, he founded GTN Telecom in 1996. He managed the fast exponential growth of GTN, raised over $17 million from top European Venture Capital firms, and turned it into one of Switzerland's top three alternative operators. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Ifeelgoods, Inc. He is an Entrepreneur.
