I've been given a lot of opportunities to get to where I am today. I'd like to see better communication across departments/divisions on the corporate level, and better communication to the stores; however, I love what I do and the people I work with, and I want to keep getting 1% better everyday.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Teamwork. A lot of members on our team will jump in to assist their colleagues without being instructed to do so.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Some are easily accessible and take feedback positively, usually with a constructive solution to any issues or concerns that are brought forward.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing employees grow into better people inside and outside of work as their tenure grows. I love seeing people overcome obstacles and celebrate the little wins each day. Just seeing my peers be successful and happy is what brings me joy.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone's personality brings a different perspective to most situations, which allows us to take on events of varying complexity and find solutions to those events. The confidence within the team to think they're the best and strive to be the best is also great.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
401k matching is the best part of the benefits package. I'd like to see other tax-advantageous accounts such as an HSA or a higher match % available down the road. Incentivize strong talent to stay with the company for as long as possible using these methods could go a long way.
