I will work at this position until I move on from this company. There is no advancement and no reviews to discuss shortcoming or what I do well, or what I would be able to do in the future.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are all alike. Everybody gets along and our interaction are the bright spot of my day
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Personable and understanding. Attempt to resolve my issues and support me as an employee. Fill in the gaps left by the Corporate team
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Pay, training, and customer foot traffic. There is no advertisement. All customers that come in state "I didn't know this place was here"
What makes you most happy at work?
It gets me out of bed. This is a hobby of mine, so it is very enjoyable. I enjoy doing the work, but I would prefer doing it outside of work on the side rather than for this company
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Minimum wage while having to deal with the public on a daily basis. Required to go above and beyond when the pay is the MINIMUM is laughable. Commision and spiffs are enough to supplement, but would be nice to not work paycheck to paycheck or need another job when I'm required to be here 9-10 hours
