I like it when being better at my job makes me more money and I like the flexibility of the day to day tasks.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The people that run our specific store are great, but home office straight up makes our job harder and costs themselves money.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If we were paid a higher base pay for hours where we aren't open and can't be selling, since selling is what makes up 99% of our pay.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
At our branch, we have a good ecosystems that we can easily slot new employees into. Also, the managers cut us some slack if we otherwise always do our jobs to the best of our ability.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There was a long stretch of time when I loved this job, but after a while it becomes dificult to maintain that enthusiasm, especially when things get in the way of what makes us money. I'm not here to work for free.
