
I feel that there are many daily responsibilities from dusting the aisles, grabbing returns, organizing the shelves, and doing downstocking reports especially during truck days that interfere with the main goal of helping customers. Any kind of incentive for completing these would be appreciated.
BYO and Systems are allowed to sell in general sales and it feels as though I am working to help those departments sell more while struggling to meet my customers per hour metric. They also dont contribute as much to the maintenance of the department even though they sell there too.
BYO and Systems selling in General Sales is demotivating and makes it feel like General Sales associates are not needed at times except to maintain the department. Customer handoffs also don't happen as often as they should because I sometimes see a BYO associate sell in General sales with no call.
