What did you like most about the interview process?

It was a quick process.

The hiring gm at the time was so sweet and outgoing. It really made me want to be part of the team

The manager that hired me made it clear what the workplace was like and what to expect. He asked different questions than usual interviews to get a better feel for my work ethics and personality traits. Unfortunately that manager no longer works here.

They make it very lax and conversational

That they gave me a chance to improve and be my self

How quick and easy it was

The dm had great values

I met directly with the GM of my store, she connected with me and let me know right then that she liked me and I was hired. It did not last long and I could tell the GM was a real person, not a person in a suit wondering if I was good enough and judging me on my past, only on what I could bring.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Make it more thorough than it was

Trena came to the interview crying begging me to work there and now i understand the desperation

I didn't feel welcomed. I felt needed. I felt like I was there to fill a spot or a demographic. Terms and pay rate were not negotiated. Hired in as franchise team member. Was not fully informed about what it meant to become corporate.
