Prior to Molina, her professional experience included regional responsibility at FHP and multi-state responsibility as Regional Vice-President at Maxicare; Partners National Health Plan, a joint venture of Aetna Life Insurance Company and VHA; and Lincoln National. She served as Executive Vice President of Managed Care at Matria Healthcare from 1996 to 1997. She served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Praxis Clinical Services, an operator of outpatient wound centers, from 1997 to 2002 and as Western Division President of AccentCare. She served as the President of Matryx Health Partners, a division of Tokos Medical Corporation and then President of Tokos itself, a national women's healthcare company specializing in maternity management programs, from 1994 to 1996. Ms. Bayer has been an Independent Director of California Water Service Group since March 1, 2014. She served as a Director of Apria Healthcare Group Inc. from March 2006 to October 28, 2008. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford University, an Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Northwestern University.
