Mr. Deepak Iyer has been Managing Director and Director of Mondelez India Foods Private Limited since August 2016. Mr. Iyer has been Managing Director of India Operation at Mondelez International, Inc. since August 2, 2016. Mr. Iyer served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Bharti AXA General Insurance Company Limited from June 2015 to August 2016. He served as Managing Director of Wrigley India Private Limited from January 3, 2013 to June 30, 2015. Prior to Bharti Axa, Mr. Iyer served as Chief Executive Officer of Wrigley India Pvt. Ltd. Before that, Mr. Iyer worked with American food and beverages company PepsiCo Inc. for about 17 years across different roles and in different markets. He has with him a wide spectrum of experience in Sales, Marketing and General Management functions with leading global companies, in both Manufacturing & Corporate sectors. Before joining Wrigley, he spent 16 years in PepsiCo, where he handled a portfolio ranging from sales and general management functions. He served at PepsiCo as Senior Franchise Director for Africa based in Beirut, Lebanon. He served as a Director at Bharti AXA General Insurance Company Limited until August 2016.
