Mount Sinai Health System Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

New leaders with fresh direction.

Great team to work for

We learn and improve from each situation

They are doing good. No complaints

The leaders of my group are flexible and understanding when it comes to time off and vacation.

Their ability to reinvent themselves and how they value teamwork

Review from Operations Dept

Lacking resources to do job

They encourage positive environment and growth

They value their employee and give full freedom of speech

They have the resources to get anything they want/need accomplished

Review from Operations Dept

Our team is EXCELLENT ALWAYS!

Review from Operations Dept

Very open, caring, and provide a great work-life balance.

Review from HR Dept

The culture at Sinai is particularly toxic at the top. There is a cohort of dysfunctional “leaders” who do not communicate or collaborate with their teams, making top-down decisions that only throw money on bandaid-style fixes, rather than base decisions on any discernible analysis

They are caring and actually take time to talk to you.

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

No experience definiely not qualified

No teamwork Staff talk negatively about management behind their backs. If you do not do the same staff will complain about you. Bullying and discrimination is rampant. Management has no clue about toxic staff

Review from Operations Dept

Not qualified clicky shops online all day

They need to learn accounability and basic computer functions. YES its that bad there.

Everything. Everyone is miserable. Overworked

Care about patients. Listen to physician input. Insert management who have experience in clinic management. Be honest in communication. Intervene when physician employees are being discriminated against

Everything. They have lost so many people.

Be supportive of their employees

Building best org over own political goals

Communication leadership unity honesty helpful

Leading, organizing, communicating, unity, empathy

Not much communication with the rest of employees

Good but would be nice to have a keurig hooked up to water line.

The leadership team needs to get better at working together to get important projects and task accomplished. The disconnect of leadership causes delays in getting things accomplished.
