Prior to joining Nationstar, Mr. Onstad served in various internal audit leadership positions, including Chief Audit Executive for Ocwen Financial Corporation, Senior Audit Director for Capital One Financial Services and Senior Vice President of Governance, Risk and Control for Bank of America Home Loans. Before entering the mortgage and financial services industry in 2004, Mr. Onstad served in internal audit and financial leadership roles in the consumer products, regulated electric utility, telecommunication and public accounting industries dating back to 1989. He earned both MBA and BBA degrees from University of Texas, Arlington and holds CPA, CIA, CISA and CMA credentials.
