Shawn Stone — President of Solutionstar at Mr. Cooper

Mr. Shawn D. Stone has been President of Solutionstar, an operating division of Nationstar Mortgage, since 2012 Mr. Stone served as Executive Vice President of Capital Markets of NNationstar Mortgage Holdings Inc. (formerly known as Centex Home Equity). since May 2005. His responsibilities included all securitization, whole loan sales, product development, pricing, secondary marketing activities, investor reporting and facilities. Mr. Stone joined Nationstar Mortgage in April 1997 in the Secondary Marketing Department where he led Product Development while also trading assets on a servicing released and retained basis. Mr. Stone also initiated a de novo Insurance department in 1998 and served as Regional Vice President from 1999 to 2001 within the Retail Branch division. In January 2001, Mr. Stone was promoted to Vice President of Capital Markets where he managed the Asset Backed Securitization program while also managing Secondary Marketing activity with GSE and institutional investors. In August 2002, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Capital Markets, where he assumed responsibility for all Risk Management, Quality Control and Treasury functions. In September 2003, Mr. Stone was promoted to Senior Vice President of Correspondent Lending with full profit and loss responsibilities for the division. Prior to joining Nationstar Mortgage, Mr. Stone was employed with Ford Consumer Finance in New England as a Management Development Program Trainee, Wholesale Account Executive and District Manager within the Boston, MA market. Mr. Stone has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island in 1993 and Master of Business Administration in Finance from University of Texas at Dallas in 2001.
