Executive Bio

Mr. Bradley J. Peterson, also known as Brad, has been the Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of Nasdaq, Inc. since February 6, 2013. He serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of NASDAQ OMX PHLX, Inc. Mr. Peterson serves as the Chief Information Officer for Schwab Technology Services, responsible for Schwab's technology innovation, development, infrastructure and operations. He served as Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of The Charles Schwab Corporation. He has significant experience and leadership skills to NASDAQ OMX and his diverse background includes successful technology leadership roles at Charles Schwab, eBay and Epoch Partners. He has responsibility for Project Services, which has accountability for the planning, coordination and financial management of all company-wide projects. He is also responsible for Offshore Services that leverages third-party offshore capabilities when appropriate. Mr. Peterson rejoined Schwab in May 2008. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Information Officer of eBay for five years. Prior to eBay, he served as the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Epoch Securities after its merger with Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. He has also held senior executive positions at companies including Epoch Partners, Schwab, Pacific Bell Wireless and Pacific Telesis (now part of AT&T). Mr. Peterson earned his master's degree in management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management and a bachelor's degree in systems science and economics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
