  • Depends on your manager. In my group we keep the overtime to a minimum. My manager is good at not asking for overtime unless it’s really necessary.

  • Base pay is competitive, but the real advantage is the annual stock grants and bonuses. After 4 years you have four grants vesting and can make some serious cash.

  • Annual and mid-year promotions. You get a promotion to reflect that you’re doing the job above your current level. Has to be balanced across the team, as only a limited amount of money is available for promotions each year.
