John A. Zecca — Head of Market Regulation for The U.S. Markets and Senior Vice President of Marketwatch at Nasdaq

Mr. John A. Zecca serves as Head of Market Regulation for The U.S. Markets and Senior Vice President of Market watch at Nasdaq, Inc. Mr. Zecca serves as Chief Regulatory Officer and Senior Vice President of NASDAQ OMX BX, Inc. Mr. Zecca oversees a team of regulatory analysts, programmers and attorneys responsible for maintaining fair and orderly markets. Mr. Zecca serves as the Senior Vice President of MarketWatch and Head of market regulation for the U.S. Markets operated at The Nasdaq OMX Group, Inc. Mr. Zecca previously served as NASDAQ's senior corporate counsel and was responsible for public company compliance and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining NASDAQ OMX, Mr. Zecca served as Legal Counsel to an SEC commissioner and in the SEC's Office of General Counsel. He practiced corporate securities law at the firms of Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells) and Kaye Scholer. He served as law clerk for the Hon. John H. Pratt of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Mr. Zecca received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
