Executive Bio

Mr. Joseph C. Noviello serves as Senior Vice President of Nasdaq eSpeed at Nasdaq, Inc. Mr. Noviello leads the strategic planning and global product development for eSpeed, NASDAQ OMX's purely electronic U.S. Treasury securities trading platform. He joined NASDAQ OMX in 2013 through the acquisition of eSpeed from BGC Partners, Inc. Prior to joining NASDAQ OMX, Mr. Noviello served as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Architect leading BGC Partners' ELX product management and technology deliverables. Mr. Noviello served as an Executive Vice President of ESpeed Inc., since September 2001 and served as its Chief Product Architect since June 2004. Mr. Noviello served as the Chief Information Officer of Espeed Inc., since September 2001, served as Senior Vice President and the Chief Technology Officer from December 1999 to September 2001. From December 1995 to December 1999, Mr. Noviello served as Managing Director of Technology for Cantor Fitzgerald LP. Mr. Noviello began his Cantor Fitzgerald career in 1995 as Managing Director of the Distributed Development Group, which founded the eSpeed platform offering. Prior to joining Cantor Fitzgerald, Mr. Noviello served as Vice President of Product Development at Micrognosis, a software company specializing in trading room data distribution platforms. Mr. Noviello serves as a Director of the Cantor ExchangeSM and Freedom International Brokerage. He served as a Director of ESpeed Inc. since September 2001. He earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from Oswego University in 1987.
