Executive Bio
Mr. Louis Modano serves as Chief Information Security Officer, Global Head of Infrastructure Services and Senior Vice President at Nasdaq, Inc. (Alternative Name: The Nasdaq OMX Group, Inc.). Mr. Modano is responsible for the development and implementation of NASDAQ OMX's global technology infrastructure and services, including networks, systems, storage, databases, cloud computing, office automation and data center facilities. He serves as Senior Vice President of Network Operations for NYSE TransactTools, Inc. Mr. Modano has over 25 years of experience supporting information technology solutions in the financial services industry. Prior to the merger of Sector, Inc. with TransactTools, he successfully led Sector's Operations, Engineering, Client Services, Product Management, Sales and P&L Management. Mr. Modano supports the underlying infrastructure behind NASDAQ OMX's trading and market systems, as well the Market Technology and Corporate Solutions businesses within the Global Technology group. Prior to joining NASDAQ OMX in August of 2009, he served as Senior Vice President at NYSE Euronext, where he served various senior leadership positions in operations, engineering, business development, sales, product development and as head of the Sector/SFTI technology subsidiary. He served various senior leadership positions at SIAC, primarily focused on technology infrastructure, business development and corporate services. Mr. Modano earned an MBA from St. John's University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University.
