nCino Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Our insurance benefit is amazing!

Review from Customer Success Dept

Medical Insurance is almost fully covered.

Review from Product Dept

The best part of the compensation package is health plan/insurance coverage.

Review from Customer Success Dept

fully paid benefits at no cost

Review from HR Dept

Medical benefits - ISO/RSU awards

Review from Customer Support Dept

Employer contributions to health insurance, HSA, and 401k

Review from Customer Support Dept

health insurance coverage and costs by far

Review from IT Dept

I like the HSA account provided for my family, and the amount of vacation we receive, and a culture that encourages taking that time off.

Review from Engineering Dept

Comparable salary, fully paid health benefits (at least for now) and deductible reimbursement.

Review from Engineering Dept

The HSA Contributions and the Vacation days!

Review from Customer Success Dept

Insurance and HSA money given

Review from Customer Support Dept

Healthcare for the entire family.

Review from Product Dept

Great amount of days off

Review from Marketing Dept

I feel my pay falls in the market range for my role. It feels good to be paid appropriately for the work we're doing.

Review from HR Dept

Health care for my whole family

Review from Customer Support Dept

The paid health, dental and vision insurance! That really goes a long way!

Review from Legal Dept

Health benefits and Paid time off

Review from Marketing Dept

Benefits by a mile. Every benefit is the best I've had in my career. Anyone who thinks differently has likely not worked elsewhere.

Review from Customer Success Dept

The PTO is much more generous than most.

Review from Engineering Dept

The day 1 healthcare coverage for the whole family has been great

Review from Product Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Haven't raised for a while. No promotion. + Insurance got downgraded since my company bought out to nCino.

Review from Engineering Dept

It just seems like we lag behind what many other companies offer in terms of compensation. There are no bonuses nor stock RSU's given unless you are in a high position and performing highly. If I ask for a reasonable amount more, it has not been met.

Review from Engineering Dept

Have been told by multiple managers that I am deserving of a promotion but that has never come to fruition. I feel like I am praised with words, but there is never any action behind it to make me feel valued here.

Review from Engineering Dept

I don't think our compensation matches that of our competitors and other companies in this industry.

Review from Customer Support Dept

They undervalue expertise with Data and AI

Review from Engineering Dept

If you compare nCino salaries and titles, they often fall on the lower end of the spectrum and beneath the mid-point. Previously (4 years ago, when I started) they were more in-line but inflation has increased so much and other companies are increasing at a higher rate.

Review from Customer Support Dept

matches the market pays and compensation

Review from Engineering Dept

Every person I know from my role who has left the company has left for a significant pay raise. nCino has continually said they plan to publish their research into our compensation vs the market but still hasn't. A quick google search for any position shows that we are underpaid

Review from Product Dept

Higher 401k match and vesting options

Review from Sales Dept

Elsewhere in the mkt, (raleigh, charlotte, durham, greensboro, winston-salem) my comp is 20-30k higher with similar benefits. I dont love that the excuse of our benefits or the fact that we live in ILM is used against us in terms of comp

Cash compensation/base salary is well below market range for numerous positions. There is no way to meaningfully increase your base salary without getting promoted. 3-5% 'merit' raises every year don't cut it and are not going to be good enough to retain talent.

Review from Product Dept

I'm asked to do a lot and cover a variety of areas but I don't feel well compensated. It is better now but not where it should be and it was less before.

Review from HR Dept

Making strides on a more transparent compensation framework. It is unclear on how to earn more, bonus matrix based upon role to include percentage of base pay, and when eligible for RSUs.

Review from Legal Dept

Most roles with my title and years of experience advertise more than I am making. But I know if I approached management they would give an excuse why there is not more money in budgets. Like most companies they want to pay people as little as possible and make the investors as much money as possible

Review from Marketing Dept

Benefits are awesome and count towards comp, but salary is a big factor and is low.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Team gets hemorrhaged by internal and external job opportunities constantly, even within the state or city (in regards to external opportunities). Historically, nCino has always underpaid.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I feel undervalued because I was able to just as effectively perform my job remotely as I'm able to in person, but I'm required to come into the office. Between that and less than industry average compensation, I don't feel incentivised to go above and beyond.

Review from Engineering Dept

My compensation is about 50k lower than what other companies would pay for the same position in the same town

Review from Engineering Dept

I feel valued, but feel the pay is not consistent across the company nor competitive with the market.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel like I've been stuck in my position for too long and am due for a bump in pay and position. It feels as though you have to know the right people/be friends with the right people to further your career and it is not entirely based on performance. Many remote companies pay more.
