Compensation, communication, and empathy for everyone on the front lines

Walking the walk, not just talking the talk. Don't tell employees that they are excelling/growing/crushing it and then not be prepared to reward them with career/monetary advancement
Review from Product Dept
Not everything at nCino is about BOS, yet it seems to be all we talk about. Other areas/departments of nCino feel left out. Also there is no discussion of DEI from the top, and quite frankly not enough diversity here as a company. I don't see nCino as a long term career option for me.
Review from Customer Success Dept
Internal Comms Consistency in policy implementation be more in touch with who nCino is today and not the past versions of it
The company/leadership doesn't seem to value critical team members enough. Salaries/working conditions are not competitive to the market and very talented/experienced people are leaving in droves. Goals/priorities also shift very rapidly which leads to a lot of work being abandoned

Haven't raised for a while. No promotion. + Insurance got downgraded since my company bought out to nCino.
Review from Engineering Dept
It just seems like we lag behind what many other companies offer in terms of compensation. There are no bonuses nor stock RSU's given unless you are in a high position and performing highly. If I ask for a reasonable amount more, it has not been met.
Review from Engineering Dept
Have been told by multiple managers that I am deserving of a promotion but that has never come to fruition. I feel like I am praised with words, but there is never any action behind it to make me feel valued here.
Review from Engineering Dept
I don't think our compensation matches that of our competitors and other companies in this industry.
Review from Customer Support Dept
They undervalue expertise with Data and AI
Review from Engineering Dept
More diversity. I barely can relate to them aside from work, makes it difficult to engage and collaborate. I feel like an outsider on a regular basis.
Review from Customer Success Dept
People are very clickish here and as a newcomer, it feels hard to fit in. Also doesn't help that almost none of my colleagues look like me...
Review from Customer Success Dept
It is department against department. There is really only one department that matters in the "company's" eyes.
Review from Customer Support Dept
There's a lot of people that work here who do not understand the product, our market, and how to develop high-quality, secure, and accessible software.
Review from Engineering Dept
Training remotely in COVID is a terrible experience. I dont know who anyone is, including leadership in my own dept sometimes. I don't know much of anything outside my own day to day,
Review from Customer Support Dept
Put right people into leadership. Stop feigning the "culture is our passion" when we let people go, keep low salaries, won't allow WFH. The celebration of the new nCino-funded soccer park was salt in the wound for people impacted by the layoffs.
Review from Customer Support Dept
We had a special culture of innovation and collaboration in product & engineering, but the wonderful people that built it have left. I'm not confident we can rebuild that positive culture.
Review from Engineering Dept
Have actual alignment. Invest in fixing your existing infrastructure. Listen to employees. Stop promoting what once was the nCino Culture, and recognize it does not exist anymore - and if it does, it's reserved for a clique of people who got in early.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Pay people more money. It's literally the only issue that people across every team are always talking about.
Review from Customer Support Dept
nCino culture is not shared through all the offices. The company shall make an effort to share this culture also in other continents

Pay vs responsibility, role clarity, growth potential. Some stability in what we are asked to own/manage instead of changing it every chance we get
Review from Product Dept
We cut back our budget on travel and expenses, but we have not invested any time or money towards our employees. We need more social gathering opportunities, specifically for people who are not based in Wilmington, or are remote.
Review from Customer Success Dept
Flex work environment isnt actually flexible Poor leadership training that do not ensure they align with ncino core values
Nobody is being compensated/valued up to their potential. We want to be best in class/ a worldwide leader but don't want to pay the people who are going to get us there. There is also a noticeable gap in communication between departments so 'priorities' always shift & cause chaos
Review from Product Dept
Too much anxiety, lack of direction, lack of trust in the individual contributer.
Review from Marketing Dept
Knowledge share as the company grows. So many "originals" that it feels like only a portion of the knowledge is able to be captured and shared for "newbie" growth.
