If the bonus structure was clearer
Some positions were considered "entry level" yet had high level accountability and 24/7 readiness was the expectation. Severely underpay employees.
A more defined bonus structure
I came into my role with a college degree and management experience. I later found out that a male colleague with no degree and no management experience was being paid more than me. (I'm a female).
New staff need to be trained properly when brought onboard. When there is a change in process/procedure, everyone it affects needs to be advised. People need to communicate with eachother.
