They are very supportive and apprroachable.
Estaff listens to their employees
They really value everyone's opinions.
Leadership seems to be pretty transparent about everything going on which is nice to see.
Some managers at NEXT are very kind, understanding, and helpful! Sadly, other managers are more focused on avoiding their responsibilities or using their team members as stepping stones in their careers. I've been lucky, but not all of my coworkers at NEXT have had managers who behaved ethically.

Showing any type of recognition to employees. Company always gives back to communities but not to their own employees.
Leadership needs to learn to listen to their agents and make actionable decisions. They constantly ask for feedback and then completely disregard it.
Communicate with your employees constructively, and let them provide feedback.
Provide more autonomy to the insurance agent team and stop micromanaging every si gle aspect of work. Its causing turnover and tenured agents to look fo work elsewhere
Being transparent and listening to its agents. Also, actually learning what we do and deal with.

The employer paid dental and medical
Medical benefits are very good that would be the only perk of this company.
The benefits are great. Healthcare premiums are paid by the company.
Fully paid medical, dental, and vision is the best part of our compensation package.
The health insurance is nice
Men and women are not paid fairly at the insurance agent level and the compensation increases are not keeping up with inflation or cost of living in Austin. The pay in general is too low.
Yes, and having leadership revamped and listening to us would help.

My team feels like extended family.
Employees are fairly young and mostly straight out of college so they tend to be tech-savy and eager for work.
My team has empathetic, caring individuals.
I love every one of the agents I work with-- they're hard-working and do their best.
Review from Operations Dept
Everyone is easy to work with.
Co workers were good just alot of drama.
The employees are friendly and respectful of each other.
Next built a good culture but it's crumbling quick.
Coworkers are very supportive and fun to be around.
Theres a lot of team building since cross-team collaborations are a must for this role.
They value the need for work/life balance.
Listen to your employees, and lead with empathy.
Everything is overly controlled and micromanaged. Management also doesnt believe you when you're unwell and need time off. HR is also extremely unsupportive when issues arise and choose not to do their actual job. They will tell you to take your problem up with your management instead.
It was a series of interviews, but not overly long.
It entailed several rounds of interviews within the same day. I feel that they really got to know me.
Getting to know the interviewers
I got to meet a handful of people and the interview process was very smooth despite a remote environment. Also felt like it was well-organized and my offer came within a week of having my initial phone screen.
I actually got to visit the office (it was pre-pandemic) and meet my potential co-workers and visualize myself in the role.
Review from Operations Dept
The interview was 2.5 hours which is way too long.
My coworkers and the work I do, even if it goes unrecognized.
Helping entrepreneurs thrive is a really rewarding aspect of the job.
The people I work with on my level are nice.
Challenged in a good way and feeling valued.
I love getting to work on a wide range of things that would not usually be possible at an insurance company.
Company would need to do alot of changes. Employee recognition, pay raises, remote work and not making offices a mandatory event.
