Executive Bio
Mr. Robert J. Buckley has been the Chief Financial Officer of Novanta Inc. since March 31, 2011. Mr. Buckley joined GSI in February of 2011 after a successful 10-year career with PerkinElmer, Inc., where he served in several financial positions of increasing responsibility. He served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PerkinElmer's $1.2 billion Environmental Health business. In 2005, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Controller of PerkinElmer's operations in Asia. He served in various finance management roles within biopharmaceutical and optoelectronics business units. Prior to PerkinElmer, he served several management positions with Honeywell International, Inc. (formerly AlliedSignal, Inc.), including Corporate Development and Investor Relations; and served as an Advisor at Georgeson & Company, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from Manhattanville College and a Master of Business Administration from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Management.
