What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Allow our talented folks to make decisions. Don't force people to come back to the office. It KILLS productivity. Especially in an open office layout. The teams that talk to customers and study that data aren't given the chance to recommend building the right thing. It's all top down.

Benefits cost is pretty good.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
At first it was great, but I was hired during a work from home time. Now I am finding myself having to drive 75 miles 3 days a week. It's added time and stress to my life that wasn't there before. Prior to that I absolutely had no negativity towards the company.

Utah companies always pay low. My job on LinkedIn and Glass door pays at least 30k more than I make now. Now that we are being asked to drive back to the office, there's gas and inflation prices. Also, you hire smart people to let them tell you how to do things rather than telling them what to do.

Provo team needs to have better communication with their counterparts. Most of the time, they are only talking to themselves and accusing other counterparts of being in a silo.

Our manager don't micromanage us. We are free to manage our own tasks as long as it won't affect the deliverable's deadlines but He always makes sure we are in sync with him.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company needs to show that employees are heard. When a problem arises it's not just the higher-ups who are in charge of the final decision. Most of the time that is what is happening, The company needs to really listen what are the problems the products are facing and how to solve them.

I feel like as we work from home more, the normal office hours of 8/9am - 5pm are being stretched earlier and later because it is perceived that since we are from home, we are always available. (and a "global company" so of course you should extend your hours...) Its hard to balance that
