I love the flexibility (work / life / volunteering) and the people I work with.

Review from Design Dept
They allow you to foster and grow within the company
Review from Design Dept
They are fairly transparent, consistent and approachable. During in-person interactions or in forums like slack during an all-hands they answer questions personally and seem to want the best for all employees as well as the company.
Review from Design Dept
They are receptive to feedback and always find ways to improve
Review from Design Dept
Teir willingness tho listen and flexible
Review from Design Dept
I appreciate the clear and open communication.
Review from Design Dept
Recognition, hiring good talent, work life balance, clear vision and compensation
Review from Design Dept
modernizing team formation and product management, project management.
Review from Design Dept
Be more focused and transparent and care about employees, try to be more competitive with other companies in the market
Review from Design Dept
They need to retire and let go of the legacy that is crippling the company.
Review from Design Dept
Too many cooks in the kitchen. There are as many managers, leads, and VPs than individual contributors. Alignment is difficult–I'd rather have a direction that fails so we can pivot, than spend a year flip-flopping and shipping something lukewarm.
Review from Design Dept
All combined the compensation is fair
Review from Design Dept
The salary and 401k matching are great for this area.
Review from Design Dept
The extra addons for people that might need it.
Review from Design Dept
Medical benefits are good, 401k match is good, pay increases usually via raises or promotions often, flexibility of working at home
Review from Design Dept
Large selection of 401K choices
Review from Design Dept
O salario esta um pouco abaixo do mercado para a funcao exercida.
Review from Design Dept
Compared to other friends in the industry we are woefully underpaid. Try looking at roles at other big tech firms and comparing?
Review from Design Dept
I really didn't get much hike after switching. My previous pkg was 18.5 LPA and IBM provided 20.5 LPA
Review from Design Dept
Better remuneration and perks for all
Review from Design Dept
More benefits and perks, just look at your competition
Review from Design Dept
They are open to discussions and answering questions in order to help me grow and learn in my role
Review from Design Dept
Everyone is working as a team instead of individuals.
Review from Design Dept
The openness for feedback and quality of it. How well we all work together to solve problems and strategize approaches.
Review from Design Dept
THey listen and are very helpful
Review from Design Dept
My team is full of interesting and diverse people.
Review from Design Dept
More technical skill. Compared to the industry (large companies, with comparable size) the technical level of our engineers is much lower.
Review from Design Dept
Everyone receive the same training/guidance outside of WHU or Your Learning.
Review from Design Dept
I work better with people that I know outside of our work. The coworkers I currently interact with the most don't seem to care about getting to know each other. I understand that work comes first but this affects my confidence and comfort level, and it makes my job extremely unsatisfying.
Review from Design Dept
I work mostly with contractors rather than IBM internal employees. Because they are contractors, they are not as invested in IBM as I am, and will only go as far as their contract goes (I have been told many times, "That's not covered in my contract so I won't do it")
Review from Design Dept
Way too many meetings. The company says it's agile–but it's not. Agile just means "leadership wants you to work fast and do what we say"
Review from Design Dept
Really smart and kind people that you learn a lot from.
Review from Design Dept
ERG's that are available to me
Review from Design Dept
That inclusivity and kindness is baked into the culture and programs. There is a very visible effort to grow teams for diversity, have accessibility baked into programming and grow ERGs for various groups. There seems to be a welcoming and transparent approach to this that I haven't seen elsewhere.
Review from Design Dept
ERG's are fantastic for engaging with other folks from the company
Review from Design Dept
There are laughs as well as dedication in getting the work done. Teamwork!
Review from Design Dept
More accountability on the work people do.
Review from Design Dept
Less bullying from upper management.
Review from Design Dept
Recognition, hiring good talent, work life balance, clear vision and compensation
Review from Design Dept
implement true SCRUM practices. Scrum meetings build team collaboration/rapport and cadence in work instead of random crap popping up and putting out fires unexpectedly,
Review from Design Dept
Senior leadership needs to get out of the way.
Review from Design Dept
It was casual and very organized.
Review from Design Dept
It was a very energetic time of change for the company. Unfortunately, those days have ended and we're back to our bad habits.

Review from Design Dept
More training and improved tools.
Review from Design Dept
Sometimes the projects or events I work on aren't of personal interest or fulfilling.
Review from Design Dept
Better management - making a clear distinction between 'leadership' and management, often we promote bad leaders into management positions who then cannot lead teams. Think about that.
Review from Design Dept
I know this is a work in progress but the quality and expectations could be better.
Review from Design Dept
Unclear expectations, last-minute leadership asks that become urgent, stressful fire drills. Lack of alignment between various squads in my department and too much emphasis on showing "quick wins" rather than making sustainable changes.
Review from Design Dept
it is a company of integrity
Review from Design Dept
Work life balance
Review from Design Dept
Security and innovation
