I have been working here for a very long time and have been provided the opportunity to grow, develop, and advance along the way. I feel truly blessed and grateful to have a job I enjoy coming to everyday and that provides me and my family a comfortable living.

My team works together well, especially, when faced with challenges that require extra time and effort to get the job done.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy the people I work with and the work I do. I am not micromanaged and determine how my workday goes.

The Nucor Leadership Team is invested in the teammates ensuring that we have what we need to do our jobs while striving to provide a work-life balance,
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The comradery between and willingness of your fellow teammates to help each other out no matter what the situation is and where you work in the mill.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
As a non-production teammate, I receive a ROA Bonus based on how profitable our mill is. Our mill has always been profitable even during the recession and 2021 was our best year so far. The ROA Bonus received was evidence of our success in 2021.
