Our team is extremely diverse with different backgrounds and experiences. It's remarkable to see such different people work effectively towards the same goal.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The Nucor leadership presents their goals very clearly, which is to be the safest steel company. They have been able to do so while still remaining extremely profitable.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We have compensated well various benefits and perks that are above what I've seen from other places. On top of this, we are given numerous gifts and extraordinary bonuses that we were not expecting.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our culture revolves around safety. We have excellent toolbox discussions everyday to keep safety at the forefront. While maintaining this culture, we are able to perform our jobs and support our teammates while without being any less effective.
What makes you most happy at work?
I look forward to being around my teammates and seeing my work come to fruition. We all spend a lot of time and effort into our projects, and seeing the end result gives me a sense of satisfaction.
